A Fasting Prayer for His Easy Yoke

Is this not the fast that we have chosen? To loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke?

Lord, you said, come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden and you will give us rest

Lord you have said that your yoke is easy and your burden is light

Lord you have told us to know and the door shall be opened, to seek and we shall find

Lord you have said, do not fear, for you are with us, do not be dismayed, for you are our God. You will strengthen us and help us, You will uphold us with your righteous hand

Lord you have said you will keep us in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because we trust you

Lord you have said that you yourself will go before and will be with us, you will never leave of forsake us

Lord you have said you will make firm the steps of those who delight in you, that we may stumble Lord but not fall for you Lord uphold us with your mighty hand

Lord we know that the enemy comes seeking us stalking with the intent to devour us

Lord we know that your people are destroyed for lack of knowledge

Lord we pray that you pour out a renewed wisdom from heaven to fill us with heavenly knowledge and understanding

Lord a knowledge that each and every one of us can personally hold to in moments we are off the course you intend for us, that we have open eyes to the spiritual realm

Lord, that we don’t limit ourselves to our earthly understanding, that being sober minded not only means avoiding intoxication but being free of influences that take our focus from your activities, that entice our minds, wills and emotions

Lord, that not only do we wear the whole amour but know how to wield, be strong in you and in your power and might

Having our loins girt with Heavenly Truth

Our feet shod with Heavenly preparations of the gospel of peace

Our shields graced with glory, might, authority and power from heaven to quench fiery darts

Our helmets with heavenly salvation

Our swords of the Spirit the word of God wielding from the throne

Lord, that our prayers and supplications in the Spirit be from our personally receive outpouring

For we are your army Lord, that is set in obedience

Lord that we absorb in our whole being that we have heavenly knowledge that you and you alone are our Adonai.

And with You for us who could be against us?

Lord that we understand that we will withstand the evil day and that for us not to forget that one day to you is like a thousand years and a thousand years a day

Lord that weapons fashioned against us be made to bring you glory, for you have already given us the strength to stand against them

For you God are the promise keeper

Lord we take your yoke upon us, for you are meek and lowly in hear, and we shall find rest unto our souls

That we are in you Christ new creatures, with old things passed away

Lord, that we share our pearls with people who cherish them

Lord that we take power, love and the sound mind you have set before us

Lord that we stand firm in faith

Lord that we hold to your declaration of prosperity, hope and a future

Lord that your love, your perfect love cast out all fear – drives it out

Behold Lord, that all things are become new

That we not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of our minds, that we may prove what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God

Lord that the fast we chose let the oppressed go free

For where the spirit of the Lord is there freedom

Lord that in the truth of your sacrifice is that the yoke of slavery has already been broken and the debt has already been paid – the only debt that remains is to love one another

And Lord in that love we show that you are the way the truth and the life

That no one goes to the Father except through you

Lord that your we your children go forth teaching all nations and baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit

That they only have fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the holy is understanding

That in their obedience their days be multiplied and the years of the lives increased

In Jesus’ mighty name we pray thanks for victory and our confidence rests in you

Amen
