Lord I pray for recognition today

That we as your children have ourselves ready to serve in the ways you desire

That those who are of the world have experiences with us that invoke curiosity

The curiosity to wonder what kind of God we serve

The we both labor in your easy yoke

That we recognize where there is darkness so we can shine light

That we recognize the broken hearted, the hungry, the lost , the widow, the motherless and the fatherless

That we recognize the scars from old wounds and the pain from current ones

Lord not that these things are beyond healing or are to be treated like the broken but know that is where victory lies

Lord that we recognize that these things are temporary and that our healing flows from your love and your grace and it is in you that we have victory

Lord we thank you for giving us the resources to stand victorious

Lord we thank you that we have the recognition and that we have wisdom to take up the armour with a heart rooted in your power to conquer death

To choose life

Lord that we not perish for lack of recognition that this knowledge be something that we work with to move on your behalf

Lord that we be co-laborers with you and not idle bystanders

Lord that we be active participants – that we work and be fed

That Lord we abide in you and you in us

Lord that your good and perfect will be done that went we feel weak that we know the truth.

That you Lord are the Lord of the living

The Lord who left us a comforter

The Lord whose children have no weapon that is fashioned against shall stand
